Since the 2010s, electronic music has been on the rise in Paris. At the start of the decade, a set of institutional actors, public and private, in fact agreed around the implementation of overnight policies. Complying with the principles of the creative city, they facilitated the development of festive activities which were particularly deployed in the Parisian suburbs. This flowering has unfortunately not escaped forms of instrumentalization of culture, sometimes closely accompanying the urban policies that are preparing the greater Paris.
