Traverser la terre

Here we learn to read, the sheep know how to read, dogs can read. We, no. We just stamp the earth. We have raised the dust, the earth, this mixture. A stirred mountain reads more. Our steps scattered during the day unite in herds at night, the sweet solitude of a whole. In the morning the mist sweeps the drailles, retraces our daily passages. Little by little, the animals are telling each other. The mountain listens, it softens. Crossing the earth, words find their way, our movements relate meaning. Today, I read my first sentence.
