A book, the second chapter in a series of Feriancova’s artist books, holds the primary source material, those grainy analogue images transferred into a digital multiplicity. Also, this issue can be understood as an artistic object. It is part of an epic collection that interprets Linnae’s taxonomic system. It is also the second installment of the first successful edition of Vol I Family, published by London’s zine publishing house Eros Press. In contrast to the first part of the linear composition, the separation and the immediacy are vertical. The pictures come from the category of natural disasters on which are layered photographs of works or installations, forming new associations.
